Healthy Apple Crisp
Apple Pie may be one of the most classic desserts, but Apple Crisp is her healthier, cooler cousin. Forgo the crust for better-for-you dessert.
  • 5 medium Granny Smith apples, sliced thinly
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2/3 c Brown Sugar
  • ½ c Unbleached All-Purpose 
  • ½ c Organic Quick Oats
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 /2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 5 tbsp Unsalted Butter, softened


    1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray 9" pie plate with non-stick spray or coat with Coconut Oil.
    2. Place apple slices evenly on pie plate.
    3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    4. With a pastry blender or two knives, cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
    5. Sprinkle the topping evenly over apples.
    6. Bake for 30 minutes. Enjoy warm with a scoop of ice-cream!
